Ramaswamy reports record haul for second half of 2025
Vivek Ramaswamy’s gubernatorial campaign raised nearly $9.9 million during the second half of 2025, surpassing a record-setting haul of $9.7 million during the first half of the year.
“You simply don’t see this level of support in a gubernatorial race in Ohio,” Jonathan Ewing, campaign manager for Vivek Ramaswamy for Ohio, said in a release. “Raising $9.88 million in a single reporting period and nearly $20 million in the year before the election sends an unmistakable message: Vivek’s campaign has historic momentum that no other campaign can match.”
The campaign said that Ramaswamy, a billionaire entrepreneur and Cincinnati native, did not make any personal investment.
From now until November, Democrats, the media, and their online allies will try to minimize this campaign. Ignore the noise. This is a massive fundraising haul for Vivek and the result of a disciplined, serious operation.

The campaign, launched in late February 2025, has hosted 112 events with fundraising components. As with the $9.7 million raised during the earlier months of 2025 from 40,000 unique donors, the $9.88 million raised in the second half of the year reflects contributions from supporters alone.
The campaign said its 2025 semi-annual financial report, covering fundraising activity from July 1, 2025, through the end of the year, will be filed with the Ohio Secretary of State by Jan. 31.
At the end of July, Ramaswamy’s presumptive Democratic opponent, Amy Acton, announced that her campaign had raised more than $1.3 million at that point in the cycle. It claimed that the campaign set multiple fundraising records for a Democratic gubernatorial candidate.
Acton’s campaign has not released updated numbers for the second half of 2025.
