Ramaswamy disappears from tech company’s website after an anti-Trump video resurfaces
Vivek Ramaswamy, the presumptive Republican candidate in next year’s gubernatorial election, disappeared from the list of speakers at a tech-industry-related event after a video of a woman heavily criticizing President Donald Trump resurfaced.
Ramaswamy was allegedly listed as a featured speaker on the ITServe Alliance’s website, but was then quietly removed, The Times of India reported. On X, AF Post published a screenshot of Ramaswamy’s profile that was previously on the website.
At an Indian tech conference, a speaker threatened to unleash Indian anger on President Trump, telling the crowd to ”kick the butt of Donald Trump. Kick his ass, really. Let’s face it, kick him. Twice.”

Ramaswamy’s campaign did not respond to a request for comment.
It is not clear when the viral video was recorded. The woman made the comments at one of the previous meetings of ITunion workers in Seattle, which resurfaced.
The speaker urged attendees to “kick the butt of Donald Trump” during a discussion about immigration and H1-B work visas.
“Kick his a**. Really. Let’s face it, kick him. Twice,” she said.
The audience applauded her, and she went on to say that Indians working in the United States should not fear the Trump administration’s stance on immigration.
She also mocked Trump by saying that immigrants “do all the hard work that no other person wants to do,” including marrying Trump because “no American would want to be with him.”
Trump recently endorsed Ramaswamy in his Truth Social post, claiming that he will never let down Ohioans.
Forbes also recently reported that Ramaswamy’s net worth allegedly doubled after he announced that he plans to succeed Republican Gov. Mike DeWine. In July, Ohio.News reported that Ramaswamy shattered all fundraising expectations by raising between $8.5 million and $9.7 million in the first four to five months of his gubernatorial campaign.”
In a post to X, former President Joe Biden’s adviser, Ajay Jain Bhutoria, also criticized the recently discovered rhetoric.
“As a proud Democrat, I fiercely disagree with Trump’s policies & actions—it’s our duty to call them out,” he wrote on X. “But Sheela Murthy’s recent speech at ITServe Alliance crossed a line with hateful rhetoric that could incite violence against him. Disagree civilly; violence is NEVER the answer.”

Ramaswamy was previously accused of supporting H-1 B visas, a claim he refuted several times.
“I’ve long said the current H-1B system is badly broken & needs to be gutted. It shouldn’t use a lottery; it should be based on pure MERIT. It shouldn’t tether workers to just one corporation. Same principles I favor today,” he wrote on X.

Politico previously reported alleging that, despite his rhetoric, Ramaswamy used the visa program 29 times.
Ramaswamy responded to the report by defending his actions and stating that he understands what he wants to reform.
“The foreign visa ‘lottery’ is senseless & the H1-B regime is a form of indentured servitude that’s a product of corporate lobbying,” he said in a post to X. “I’ll finally fix it.”
Ramaswamy was also previously criticized for suggesting a “year-round” school system.
